Help identifying missing tinware

Post by dubdaze »

Hi,

I have just purchased a 1.6 Aircooled T25 and there seems to be quite alot of tin missing. Can anyone help me identify the pieces I am missing?

I think I am missing 12, 15 and maybe 10 (does this go over the oil cooler?). I know I am also missing 7 and 8, but is there anything else?

Also, where is the best place to get this tin, and I also need the air filter / pipes etc...

Cheers for any help.

Don't worry, had too many Aircooled's to know the value of all of the tin, trouble is this is my first T25, so am having trouble knowing what is missing and where to get it :?

hi, these are some of the bits he's got off one of the engines,
don't know if he's got anymore, he'll have to reply this evening when
he gets home from work, basicly if you want them you can have them for nowt & either collect or pay postage,.
they need a good clean, don't know if he intends to do that before he
sends them or not,.

sorry none of our engines came with a filter so can't help with that :(

I might have the air filter assembly, will double check. where abouts are you?

also you'll need an engine seal if you don't already have one?

It looks as if you're also missing 1 (sits under 15, above the exhaust silencer), 2 (fits under 10 and Yes, 10 partially covers the oil cooler) and 5 which sits in the little corner opposite the dizzy).

As you can see, the condition isn't great, but you're welcome to them, can post or you can collect if you're near us. PM if you want.

also you'll need an engine seal if you don't already have one?

Also got one of these somewhere, in the same oily condition as the rest tho I'm afraid

Melvin

PS; Still trying to get 7 and 8 off, one stuborn bolt on each!
