oil filler on CU engine - JK new one looks nothing like old!

Post by The_blue »

I've been loosing iol via a cracked filler pipe so i've orded a new one.

the old had a screw fixing. The new one has a spring clip and isn't even looking the same.

Do they fit/work?

I'm with you on this! JK bloke he talk thro ar#e. Mine looks just like yours with a bolted clamp fixing. But there are variations on other engines I think cos mine is split and I have tried to replace and ended up with a version closer to the original than what JK have sent you but not quite right - just a push on but slightly larger in diameter.

Thats what i thought!

JK have sold 1000's to T25 owners though! (so he says...)

They'll be getting it back with a bit of free engine dirt ;)

Typical,,,,
The one you have been sent is a Bay Window one.
:rofl

Sorry for laughing but If you were to fit the one supplied , to fill your T25 with oil would be like trying to stroke a cat through a letter box.
