Just got back from a great weekend at a campsite very local to me.....but never given it a look before:
Called Glencote, Station Road, Cheddleton,
Staffs
Dead handy for Alton towers
Right next to Churnet Valley Steam Railway
5 mins walk to canal side pub "the Boat" which serves good price pub food.
Site itself is absolutely spot on, manicured grass,hook ups,water on every pitch. Spotless loos and showers......
and cracking little fishing lake.
Most helpful staff ever....nothing too much trouble.
Paid £20 for 4 of us.
well recommended.
