Speedo sticker

Hi - I'm relatively new to the forum, have been lurking a while, learning lots! I've just bought my first camper, T25 California and as the speedo is in Kms, thought it might be worthwhile putting a sticker on to keep an eye on MPH.

Only thing I can find is £11.50 on ebay, not really convinced it will do the job though. Wandered if anyone had any suggestions or had found something that fits a T25 speedo.

Take the clock out and mark it on the existing clock yourself... or just memorize the usual speed limits:

30mph = 48.3 (50) km/h
40mph = 64.4 (65) km/h
50mph = 80.5 (80) km/h
60mph = 96.6 (100) km/h
70mph = 112.7 (= 120 will be safe on a motorway) km/h

It's not too difficult once you get used to it, I never bothered doing anything to the speedo of my LHD Syncro. It's not an MoT requirement to even have a speedo, it's just a legal requirement not to exceed the limit!

The other option is to invest in something that tells you your GPS measured speed (Satnav or similar) - this will almost always be more reliable than a speedo reading.

thanks edmundator, marking the clock sounds like the easiest solution. Satnav also sounds good, but will have to wait a while - all my spare cash has gone into buying my camper!

or if you wont to up date them in cool blue iv got a set of mak 2 GTI vw one just got to fix the back of the speedo what u could maybe use of you ones here a picture of the clock

thanks Hercules. think I'll just put removable stickers on the exisitng clock for now - I'm sure I'll be able to remember the kph/mph conversion soon anyway. Just panicked a bit on the first run (yes, camper is that new!!).
