Advice on immobiliser, alarms and central locking

Post by HertsPete »

Hi,

I recently bought my first van (1989, 1.9, Hitop, water cooled). All very exciting!

I'd like to beef up the security a bit but am unsure what is feasable/affordable.

What I really fancy is the whole caboodle - I press a button on a key fob and the van central locks (with deadlocks???) and immobilises the van. Then maybe another button to engage an alarm (since I won't always want to arm the alarm all the time, I think. At festivals it's bound to get nudged & sound off while I'm away from it for no good reason)

Any advice on whether the above is feasible or what products might do the job?

Thanks

Pete
