Cab Hammocks

Post by fullsunian »

Hi - bit new to all of this but having fun all the same!! Looking for a bit more room in the van for the kids and was thinking of a cab hammock - seen one on "Bluebird" website. Has anybody brought one from there / feedback on how good they are / worth buying / any recommendations / suggestions??

Cheers

Hi! Yes, several have cab hammocks (often called bunk) in their campers. Some use parcel shelf in back for little ones too. Might try search and see what you get.

I've used both over the years. Kids are all grown up now but still use back parcel shelf for storage. Bluebird sells one, but seems to mount kinda high as I prefer bunk to be at steering wheel level... or maybe a little lower. Easier access and more room.
