Spindles are from VW, they take a while to arrive (been waiting 3 weeks), or try CJ from Syncrospares he is breaking an LHD. Dash out is a "simple but horrible" job I'm afraid, order replacement shear bolts while you're at it, if its squeaking would it not be possible to repair ? Mine are flopping down over the bodywork as the splines on the spindle are worn out...

I fixed mine by stripping the nuts etc off from the outside and squirting some aerosol grease (very penetrating out of the can, then sets as grease minutes later) on them. OK to this day.

Dash out = horrid job.
I have been putting it off for 3 years due to a squeaky heater blower !"

I had problems with floppy wipers.
the material that the wiper arms is made from is much softer than the splines. Try removing the wiper arm and cleaning out the splines with a sharp small flat head screw driver.
I bought new wiper arms from JK and had no more problems...

wiper spindles

After reading the replies today I`ve removed the wiper arms nuts washers today and lubricated with wd40 also removed glove box to try and lube some more. Then cleaned cleaned the splines up and reattached everything squeak has now gone. I`ll see how it goes on. Just need new wiper blades now then hopefully will be sorted. If not then the horrid dash out job might just happen!!!!!!!!!!
