Weber 34 ICT linkage

Post by dekker »

Hi, I'm wanting to fit some Weber 34 ICTs to my CT engine. I know that Type 1 manifolds will fit but could somebody tell me which linkage kit I'll need? Had a look at a Type 1 linkage but cable pull is above the linkage and I need below. Will Type 3 or Type 4 linkage fit?

Cheers, D.

Not stock, its a 1776 and is freshly rebuilt. Wouldn't be too shocked if it blew up quick as its the first Aircooled i've rebuilt, way more bits than the mini and ford engines I've done before!

Got a horrible feeling you might be right.
Had loads of bother being supplied incorrect parts, and then to really rub it in a blackbird nested in the vans engine bay whilst the engine was out. Lost another month or so as made the mistake of telling the kids and didn't have the heart to throw them out.

Nah itl be right.. if youve done other engines and used quality parts and made everything fit correctly, oh and used a good lube to assemble with... Prime the oil pump (back fill down the oil pressure switch on the oil cooler)
