For transportatiion - ask the seller to look into Hermes Paketversand.
They post throughout Europe and are low cost.

Sorry to hear that... what a damned shame after a restoration job

Anyhow, sounds like initiative has won through, hope your insurance can buy you an even better camper than the bent one :)

Well...the paper got it slightly wrong, it wasnt a restoration project as such, it was a German one i brought over in Jan but we made in the inside better and just right for us, it passed the MOT thur, DVLA fri for documents and UK reg....Sat hit by drunk driver and Mon new tax dick and reg arrived....

I have had to accept a interim offer, which has managed to get my a 6 wheeler pig ugly wierd camper...a Ford Starcraft off ebay.

Matt Dolby wrote me a report of how solid it was before the accident, so im hoping to get a decent price and still buy it back...here is the damage.

http://www.julianhales.co.uk/vw_damage.htm

Not too bad, but now i dont have the tools or health to do it myself, but i cant bear to see them scrap the van...little bit of work to the damage and she should be as good as new, never been welded or new panels as it was a German van.

Not me either, I stayed in for a bit, but the auction ended while I was in the middle of a marathon meeting. Oh well, I think the Tristar looks pretty good on the Carat alloys anyway...
