Well, they may be rare but make sure it's the right wheels. The Seller looks to be quoting the bolt pattern as 5 X 120mm. That's a BMW pattern. The T3's and T25's have a 5 X 112mm pattern.

I've seen this design on a Tristar but those were 14" wheels vs. 16".

The offset quoted is also suspect as most alloys specified by VW for T3' are ET30-ET32. Of course, BMW specs ET20 on many of their cars so that makes these even more odd.

Besides, the Seller seems to be specifying local pick-up. I could be wrong since I am using a translation service to read the auction details.

ahh good point about the pcd, I've only seen this style on a tristar in the brocure....
[img:1238:1752]http://boltze.dyndns.org/terlinden/pros ... eite02.jpg[/img]

and cant tell what size they are in the uk Brochure but it states they are only 6j x 14

[img:1232:1744]http://boltze.dyndns.org/terlinden/pros ... eite04.jpg[/img]

however in the german Brochure it lists 7 x 16 as an optional extra???

Yes, looks like your inquiry got him to add that comment.

Sorry I had to jump in too. I have a white Tristar just like the one in the brochure and of course would always be looking for a set of these! Good luck to whoever else will also be going for these.

Hey Robert. I have seen your Tristar and they should go on that and not on my Multivan. I shall pull out of the race. Good luck

Thanks syncropaddy, we'll see how it goes. I have to post pictures of the Tristar as it looks now. I picked it up from Syncronutz on Saturday and drove it home to London. What a fabulous truck it is, and I think these wheels would just be the iceing on the cake.
