Post by Joloke08 »

Hiya
i used to be into CB radio and when i get a T3 i wanna fit one if only to keep in touch with the other half when they wander from the van(with a handheld  )

Are there any other members out there who have fitted a CB radio in there T3?

If so can you post some piccys of your instalation?
Ive lost track of CB thesedays whats the best to get?
Best place to mount one in a T3?
New or 2nd hand? which make is best?
Aerial which is best? best place to mount the aerial on a T3?

And finally best place to get all the gear?
Please post piccys so i can see where you put yours?

This guy is great, been buying off him for years!

Location of your CB aerial depends on what type of roof you have, I put a mag mount on the metal roof at the front of my Westie

I've seen some really neat installs of rigs in the ashtray, but i've got a Midland with all the display etc built into the hanset so I can put it in the glove box when I leave the van
