hi all.
I've got some indicator wiring woes...
As soon as I turn on the ignition my indicator light comes on (with 9 volts running through to the bulb) When I turn on the indicator the bulbs turns off and on fine... (when it comes one 12volts run through the bulb)
I've replace the flasher relay from one from halfords.
Checked the earthing.
looking at this diagram
http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/f ... iagram.jpg
There is 12v coming into pin 49 and 9 volts coming out of pin 49a as soon as I turn the ignition on.
I'm completly lost on what could be doing this... can anyone shed any light??
Everything else seems to be OK...
Cheers

When this sort of problem happened on my old van it was corroded earth points behind the fuse-box. Have you checked all of the dash earth points?
The indicator one will be fine because it is lighting up - but another could be corroded forcing current down the easiest path (probably via the indicator light).
