Asmany of you know i'm after a vw 1.9 diesel engine. now I know the engine code i'l looking for is a 1y. are there any other codes ? AEf i thnk needs the thing drilling for the dip stick, not very technical, so all advice welcome. cheers x Colette

Buy a car and hear it run at least. I bought an engine only and what a nightmare.
