Noisy waterpump, drivable?

Post by amazingdave »

Hiya,

Well on further investigation the largest componant of noise from the van is coming from the waterpump, just a bit of vibration coming from the clutch...

The waterpump is not leaking but is very noisy (screwdriver on bearing stethescope, followed by removing v belt for diagnosis).

Is it wise to drive it or should I leave it till I've replaced the pump?
