I think less than 20 were built as 16". In the last ten years I've seen only five.

Here's a picture of one: [img:640:668]http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/9118/westy16am1.jpg[/img]

i think i`ve resigned myself to continuing with the 16" project. i probally couldn`t afford a genuine one even if i found one, thanks for the info so far.

just a thought but is there any official registers for syncros / westys etc.

Original syncro registry is on syncro.org

There was a uk syncro registry on ?syncro.org.uk? but the site seems to have gone.

A new Tristar registry on Tristar connection.

Nothing I know of for Westy's in any format.

CJ,
is mine the not so well known one? Bought mine from Busman in Belgium, took a risk as it had to have an engine change and it had been stood for a year. Almost payed off as well  Its now ok but it took me a year to find one. Wasn't going to get one but the 16' westy did push me over the edge.

Wasn't sure. I know its got a westy top and interior but as you know it has had a few changes in its life. I am in newquay! Think I need to book it in for a fettle (pulls to the left and fuel tank indicator doesn't go below one third)
