50 amp split charge Relay

40 amp cable from the relay to the battery

iv just got one of they of ebay for my van boss 300 AMP 12V 24 VOLTS SPLIT CHARGE BATTERY POWER RELAY,im not puting it in as im going to get some one to do it right for me here the link if you looking for a good one

cheers guys, i thought 50 amp should be ok but seeing that monster on e bay made me think that you could use a diesel glow plug relay, i`m sure they have a very high ampage rating but are they safe to run for a long time as glow plugs tend to be high amp short time.

what ya think. :?

I use a 30A from maplins - £3 or something. Its all fused at 30A and has never blown - so i guess 30A is enough?
