Hi,
[Update - specs and pics now two posts down.] Thanks in advance.
Is this the right forum to use for help in deciding a fair sale price for my T25 Kameo hightop? If not, apologies. If so, I can post spec and some photos.
Selling the trusty steed to fund conversion of even-more-trusty steed - 16" syncro poptop. Yummy!

before 2003:-

fuel filter and hoses changed.
gear linkage adjusted for age and wear.
front and rear brakes serviced - some hoses, calipers, pipes, discs, pads and cylinders replaced.
general annual maintenance done for oil, filters, antifreeze, spark plugs.
one front wheel bearing replaced.
comments:-
has only failed me once in 5 years, when fuel filter got clogged up and carb seized.
needs some TLC to bodywork and interior.
all major elements work fine.
I'll be sad to see it go, but the promise of a go-anywhere camper replacement was too much.

that bodywork needs more than cosmetic work.it looks like it probably needs the panels replacing.which means stripping out the interior.the cost to a new owner will be quite a lot.i wouldnt want to pay more than a couple of grand for a van in that condition myself....good luck with the sale...

eek! I guess to get a good price I'm after a bodyshop in/near Bristol to do this work. Can anyone recommend a good one please ?
Once bodywork is repaired satisfactorily, what do you think the van would go for?

stick it on gumtree london , its free and this time of year you get all the aussies and kiwis over to tour so you shouldnt have a problem selling it, it does need some love but they arent too bothered about that, as they will sell it on before they go back home, its worth as much as the next man/woman will pay for it dude
certainly more than 2k i would have thought..

Have you seen the price of welding these days, as soon as they see a VW they add on the noughts. Iwould give you a grand,,, mabey. Once they cut that panel off, they go,,,,,, OOHH RIGHT, ITS A BITT WORSE THAN IT LOOKED MATE. Ill have a good look and give you a price. I think you should take it to a bodyshop and get a quote, and take it from there, Mabey someone on here would know someone that are reasonably priced around your area. Id go for lambrettalee,s idea. But then, again a good bus worth saving from the orange stuff. Good luck phpc.

Ohhh eck, your under fridge panel is worse than ours.......
That looks like a new panel from the indent down (kitchen out job) which many bodyshops won't be interested in.
That front panel is looking like a full corner restoration too (or a bit of filler and blown over to sell....
)
I reckon - the fact that the interior looks well - and it is a late model - plus low mileage (for year) means you would do best covering up the real state of the body and selling on** for £3k+ish....
(** Note - I am being honest here having had this done to me last year - I don't suggest it is particularly moral to do this - but have been tempted to do the same myself........
