Yeah SI, just like the wbx head stud problem that "doesnt exist" but VW USA did loads of engines under warranty.. well actually not under warranty coz it was some years later but still free....... different set of rules...

Well, we are on different continents. I've seen dampers from your part of the world looking like lace from the work of the tinworm. No doubt companies keep such details when offering warranties. Besides, in my experience, most Americans are unlikely to file a claim on lifetime warranties which are often only good if you have original receipts. That's why rebates are so popular advertising gimmicks here. People because the rebate makes the item look like a good value. But then they forget to send out for the rebate. Same goes for lifetime warranties and tools. When you can't find them, it's easier to just buy another one.

I'm guilty as charged of all the above offenses.
