Just getting into this T25 thing and so on the first rung of the learning ladder!
Got a chance to pick up a D reg but the body work is not too good. Looks like the rear body panels need replacing as it has gone through over the arches and internally underneath the windows surprisingly (condensation running down the window perhaps??)
Also got a bit on the front at the bumper which seems common from what I've read here and the tail panel has rusted internaly at the bottom.
I know its difficult without seeing, but from the description can anyone give me some rough idea at how much this would cost and a good repair shop in/near Leeds as need to come to some sort of agreeement on the price with the owner.
Would be grateful for any sort of help.
Many thanks!

unless it's only a few hundred quid with a decent camping interior i'd walk away m8.
bodywork is everything with these vans and by the sound of it the one you're looking at is rotten.
a bit of rust is to be expected but if panels have rotted through it will be a minefield once uncovered and welding is very time consuming and expensive. look around and you'll find what you need without all the hassle.

Would have to agree. I bought the one with the best bodywork I could afford. You can swap anything mechanically, even the engine, but once the body goes your foobarred.

Thanks for the replies.
Got the message that rust is up there as THE big budget item. Think I'll look around some more.
Cheers!!
