Squeaky clutch pedal - bush needed

Post by Pootle »

My clutch pedal is squeaking again now that the weather is dry. It is driving me crazy. It's had grease squirted in the general direction a couple of times but this only fixes things for a few days.

The pedal needs a new bush, but my garage (Luccombes in Bristol) say they cannot get them from their normal sources, even from those in Germany.

Can anybody help? The ETKA part number 281-721-153. Any suitable alternatives?

By the way, where is Andy Van? His website seems to have disappeared?

Have you tried a VW van dealer?
Or pick up a second hand pedal...

You're right! Last time I tried they weren't available. They must have made a new batch...

Many thanks.
