Redboxerk9 stalling problem (where did the thread go!!)

Post by toomanytoys »

Well
Went over there today to lend a hand.. (bloomin traffic and heat.. but thats another story)

Anyway, went through all the usuall suspects and sorted a couple of issues, inc it wasnt timed very well and this was belived to have been done by a garage... sorted that...

Running well, but still suddenly cutting out for no apparent reason... so think we needed to swap out the dizzy, then the mudule, one by one to elliminate... then I asked if it had an imobiliser.. "yes, but its been bypassed"... oh bugger........ so we had a look and removed it.. poor instalation in the first place.. got it running again and it seemed that things were ok.. so off up the road... then it stalled again.. but restarted and ran.. so off they go again.. but then it stopped... and would not restart...... double bugger..... pushed it back......

Had a brain storm and will let you know if that was the problem.. certainly I have never seen it happen before....... bloody strange I should say.. so should hear from Redboxerk9 in a couple of days if it has cured it....
