- I need help in identifying my gearbox number. Spent a few hours on it and got some info but not all of it.

The first three pics (are bad I know) are what I can see of the box number.

It is a four speed box for a 1.9 petrol water cooled. Hope that helps.
The last pic is what I think it is but it dont look right.

a useful guide on how to read the gearbox number is at www.syncrospares.co.uk - go to the 'used t3 parts' page and it tells you there what to do...

looks like ABD 12 029 to me which is box number 12 feb 1989
