The way that I personally do it is...

Get a spare velle door and chop in half. Take your time strenghtening the doors and take a good look at various similar doors on ANY thing with em, houses, vans, trailers etc. Opt for the neatest and most factory look of solutions (so u may even take a good look at how a splits ones are)

Then my personal taste if i were to do it would be keep the window as near to a velles as possible (rather than fit a pair of portholes in!) and just raise the edge up square around the closing edges by an inch or so and colour that part black to blend in with the tinted windows I'd be fitting...

Like I say thats just the way I'D approach it and if it all goes crap all it's cost ya was the door up to a point! And if its a pre 85 van and your doors decent it's sacrilege to chop it up... :lol:

someone has got a yellow t25 featured in VW Camper and commercial magazine march/april edition with side door conversion. it has a phone number of who did it. he is a mark giles 01962736878.
i've used a spanner!!!!!it's not that bad just remember to swear.
