Can I use a 50* oil pan and not tilt it over so far?

Post by lews9146 »

I need to use a oil pan like the vanagon 50* pan. In my project I can only tilt the motor over to about 65*. Do you guys think it would be ok to use the 50* pan and only tilt it to 65* or so? Otherwise I'll need to make a different oil pan whcih will add time to the project.

thanks
