o.k. so i managed to butcher off the old slave and the original black plastic bit is u.s. does this small plastic part come with new slave thanks tezza :?:

If you are refering to the dust/shyte cover then yes , this should come with the cylinder,,

thanks mate but its the small hard plastic bit about an inch long that seems to go on the end of the metal plunger and fit on the ball on the end of the actuating arm mines split and knackered i'll have to wait and see!!

if it is part of the "sealed unit" then I expect yes I simply put my new slave cylinder on top of whatever was there before but, I did have a split metal bit which sat on top of the arm it was like a rod and "split" cup.. most likey from driving the van with no clutch until 200 miles after I had bought it and it completly failed.
