Sleeping near Heathrow

Post by mwheatley »

Hi, Does anyone know of an overnight stop off or campsite near Heathrow airport, or within 30mins drive?

Someone was talking the other day about sleeping at motorway service stations, (see this thread https://club8090.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31992 ) there is a service station on the M4, Heston Services, very close to Heathrow, maybe you contact them and see if you could sleep there, in the other post they were saying you can buy a "ticket" for about £7/8 and legally sleep like the truckers do and use their facilities..
not exactly a romantic night out though !
Or you could look for a country layby, you have a Westy right ? Try somewhere off the A4 west of heathrow...
