Airvents stuck open

Airvents stuck open

Hi,both my passenger & driver fresh airvents are permanently open.any ideas on how to fix or how to remove vent to repair.Finding it very refreshing driving to work on these lovely warm mornings!!!!!! :shock:

My passenger fresh air vent was permanetly on (the on/off lever wasn't ingageing). I took it apart and it was fairly obvious what was wrong with it (a pin wasn't ingaging). However, it has since broken again.

They are a tad fiddly to take out. There are 4 little pins if I remember rightly that you need to push in.

A quick bodge fix for the winter would be to disconnect the tube from the vent (easy to do if you reach under the dash) and tape the end up.
