2.0 Aircooled tuning
2.0 Aircooled tuning want to get it rebuilt but want to release a bit more power. want a nice realiable engine. first thing i think would be to replace the carbs, but what about piston and cams ?? any suggestions would be great full recievd thanks

jh engines just built a 2.1 Aircooled for a mate.
its got a torque cam in it.
it goes very very well.
to achieve best performance the first thing you need to get is a set of dellorto carbs, either 36drla or 40drla
you will also need a linkage and a pair of inlets too.
once its all together get it to a rolling road.

depends how much you wanna spend really, you can buy recon' 2.4lt built around a 2lt case, add into that cam heads and carbs have a decent and fast motor at that point!
got standard everything on mine except carbs and have dell 40s brilliant!
