This is my first thred on 80-90 so HELLO TO YOU ALL

Just wondering if anyone knows of a paint shop in SE London as I am looking at buying a van but think!!!!!! o.k know it's going to need at least 3 new wings and a full re-spray

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a van that didn't need all that work ?

I doubt you'll find a 'good value' bodyshop in London...

I was thinkg of that but hard to come acroos a good one that needs little done to the paint work and is in my budget

Round about £4,000 but here is the catch ...... I want a pop up hard top(holdswoth villa or auto holm) with good interior must have a good engine as all i know is how to turn the key

honest opinion....

may I suggest you get a more modern and reliable van.

most of these vans are over twenty years old and require a lot of maintenance and money spent.

I hope you have an understanding mechanic and a six figure bank balance

£4000 will not guarantee a trouble free T25

unless you are willing to learn of course

Look at the buying guide in the Wiki, buy on bodywork, you could easily spend another 1000-2000 putting this van right, be patient and keep your fingers in many pies Gumtree, Ebay etc and look at lots of vans then you will see they all tend to rot in the same places, be wary of shiny paint could be a fill and blowover tart up job
