It is very possible that it has been in a crash.
BUT you want photografic proof.

If it's local, go & have a look.

It may be a minor crash. If I had a car on Ebay, I don't think I would drive it.

I do have mine for sale though & took it off road, I went through some trees & lost the aerial. It does happen, but you are right to smell a rat...

The plot thickens, after saying that a minor bump is no problem ive received the following email:
Dear Dave
Really sorry I can't possibly sell the truck until all
the insurance is sorted, hopefully the insurance
company will right it off as I have agreed value of
£3000, which is great for me but not for you I know!!
Apologies again Ian

I think he's lying........ :x

I wonder if he's used eBay's "Buy it now" to show the insurer someone would pay what he was asking for it and therefore a claim should be worth that value? A slightly dubeous way of doing it but maybe thats what was intended. Any details of when it was actully crashed? Hope it didn't get crashed because it wasn't getting what he wanted and the insurance was higher?

I believe it was sold to another person shortly after I 'bought it now' Somebody is going to do a drive by shortly, so we'll know more then. The truth will all come out in the wash........It'll be seen before long, maybe a new member here shortly
