Diesel Cam belt cover - after those pesky rubber washers!!!

Post by Other-Power »

Hello all,

have had to take the cam belt cover of my engine (diesel) as the rubber washers holding the cover on and removing the vibration have worn out.

Now, does anyone know where to get them from, or more to the point what i am asking for.

Many thanks

Jon

Don`t remember any rubber washers when I`ve done the belt (twice). Where about do they fit? Not shown on ETKA diagrams :?

If it`s just a rubber washer they can`t be that hard to find, try B&Q for some tap washers! Not worth running with the covers off anyway.

Hi WCJ

The rubber washers are on the inside of the holes where the bolts go on, might have a look in b and q tomorrow.

Not listed or shown on ETKA. Bolts are 6mm so shouldn`t be hard to find washers that`ll do :)
