There is no plaque under the passenger seat

The plaque by the pedals says the same as the service book, but I don;t which one if any is the paint code.

It's a custard colour Westy Joker.

the details from the service book are:

Chassis removed for security -mocki

Type 254062
DG 045661 8E

laknummer R114 LN

M-uitvoeringen E87 020025120184

hi there fellow lutonian. you would be well advised to remove your chassis number immediately!! not every one with access to this forum can be regarded as a "club member"
we went to nu-agane in the centre of bedford, the girl there just looked at he van as was able to match the colour. they have huge piles of colour swatch books to be certain as well.
pm me if you need more helpwith this!

yes, posting your chassis number is foolish

brickyard wrote: If you cannot find your paint code and you really need this information then take a trip to your local VW dealership with your reg. number and your 17 digit chassis number and the parts dept. should be able to give you a print out of your vehicles details otherwise you could get your vans "birth certificate" from Germany at....

I would go along with Kev. Bamboo Yellow H1B was a standard T25 colour through all years.

Thanks folks and thanks Mocki for removing the chassis number. didn't occur to me that this would be a risk. Still not sure I understand why.

Naive I may be - but foolish not!

now i am very confused
for years we have been keeping VIN numbers to ourselves - as proof of ownership. a friend has just called round to show off her brand new corsa --and it has the vin displayed in the windscreen, in a special display panel!
very strange. (and the new plastic p*g is too)

Mocki is right to remove ID numbers. The less info we give to the dishonest bastards the better. Also, yes there are vin numbers in the windscreen areas of vehicles, Why? Anyway, the less info given the better,
