I have to change the push rod seals now as it is dripping oil on to the hot exhaust pipes going into the heat exchangers, cue smoke and smell!!
Is there anything to watch out for because ive never done this before. I have ordered seals and head gaskets from timsvw, do i need anything else? Also do i need a torque wrench for the head bolts?

its Aircooled?
sure you need to take the heads off?
iirc( and i maybe wrong here) you can do them without taking the heads off........

i think mocki's right,, no need to remove the heads as i understand it? apparently its a very easy job on the 2l Aircooled
