hi club 80-90
My dashboard oil light keeps coming up and the audible buzzer goes off after ten seconds of driving.
The level of my oil is fine. I've checked the low pressure switch and it is working perfectly. The high pressure switch is a mystery to me as to where it is situated?
Any information would be appreciated.

one sender is between the push rods, the other is behind the main pulley, if its a wbx
get your oil pressure checked asap, and if it ok, and the senders are ok, it may well be a wiring issue, try "wiggling" the main connector onto the dash pod, which you can reach from below by your right knee as you sit in the driver seat

Before you panic. Does you oil light go out when you start it hot? Does the oil light and buzzer start at tickover? If you don't have a light at tickover, but the light comes on when driving, check the wire from the high pressure sender (to the left of the bottom pulley) make sure it isn't broken there, then trace that wire to the connection on the top left hand side of the engine bay. It should be a double connector with one wire dropping down ove the front of the engine and one coming back to the switch by the pulley.
The switch to use is 068 919 081.
If you have the 2 bar at 2,000 RPM and it is still buggering about, earth the wire that goes to the sender by the pulley. If it still does it, avoid sharp objects for a day or two then trace the wire right up to the dash!
The thin wire on the negative side of the coil is the sender for RPM if you haven't a rev counter fitted, snip the thin wire and fold it back into the loom.
