Seat Swivel

Post by aliandphil »

We can get hold of a seat swivel base for our Type 25. The owner says we need to remove the seat runners from the box and bolt the base plate
onto the seat box top.

Has anyone done this?

Is it easy? Any tips?

I wouldn't remove the runners, I'd drill a couple of holes in the runners and shove an M8 nut up inside the runner then bolt the swivel down to them. You may need to weld tabs onto the side of the swivel plate to reach the holes....

I have for sale an execllent quality swivel seat base, you will not need to take off your seat runners or weld anything to fit it, its just bolt on. Its yours for £115 posted if you want it. I know bit pricer than some others you see but like I say good quality and bolt on. You should have this installed in 15 mins tops.
