Advice, please HELP - cannot remove CVJ from gearbox side...

Post by theMarmot »

Any ideas how to remove a CVJ from the gearbox side? It's well and truly fused on the join. The guides all say it should just fall out once the nuts are out.
All suggestions welcome!!

To top it off i need to be in cornwall for work tomw and i'm in birmingham!

If anyone is up for helping out locally i'd be more than happy to compensate for your time.

Cheers,

Jamie.

Panic over! All sorted.

Put the bolts back in the wheel side, started the engine, put it in reverse and dropped the clutch. It snapped off almost immediately.

Well done Jamie,
All I could think of was an FBH, and did not want to suggest that

Hope your trip to Cornwall goes to plan.

Cheers
