Fog lamp switch,off/on/on???

Post by redstar »

Just a quick on for the 'experts'.....
I have a 2000 '81, me dad has a 1.6td '85. re. fog lamp switch.
The switch looks to have 3 positions, i.e 2 on.... If so, WHY?

Thanks in advance! (there is no problem, just curious)! :?

well if you have auxilliary or driving lights then the switch you talk of at the first pos will allow the auxilliary to light up and a little green light comes on

1st position = OFF
2nd (middle) position = front foglights, if fitted
3rd position = rear foglights (and front if fitted)
