Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing the cable colours for the 1.6 turbo 1989 , the one i have is next to useless as it is a just campers one in black and white, i have looked on the wiki with no success

Which bit do you need?
The Bently one is still black and white but has a colour key.

The itiems in the engine bay as my engine was taken out to do the head gasket and given back with a problem out of the van, cheers.

Bently doesn't cover the turbo engine and the 1.6D they have is an early van in US spec so farely different electrically.

I think Syncroandy has a european JX wireing diagram on his website somewhere, or if you PM me an email adress I can send you one - its the best diesel one I've found, only thing it doesn't cover is dimdip headlamps and some of the posher options, but those areas are covered in Haynes/brooklins/bentley - anything JX is all there with readable wire colours sizes, pin numbers, parts locations...its what you want.
