the bloody mot guy took my van out to 'test the brakes' without telling me, I had put stuff from around the engine lid up in the top bunk to help them get to the engine. so he slammed the anchors on and stuff from the top went flying obviously. a big chunk has been taken out of the cooker/sink lid! i showed the manager today and he said 'err get me a quote on fixing it' so how do you get a quote on getting a new worktop from a 20+ year old van......???
Unless it's a syncro why is he testing brakes on a road test?
I appreciate with 4 wheel drives rather than going to the expense of installing a 4 wheel rolling road just in case a four wheel drive turns up garages use a road test.
But on a two wheel drive?
It's nothing a great deal of time and money can't fix
86' 1.9 D.G. Autosleeper poptop in white.
get them too pay for it we had too if we damaged a customers car in any way on mot and like said no need to road test. it ..the rollers turn at 4 mph thats all damage is down to them we had a guy leave pen marks on seat our cost to get them cleaned
if my vans a rocking dont worry fixing it again lol
