stay 4 speed, 4.86 (or 4.83) or 4.57 final drive, which will mean the .85 fourth in a petrol box - only way to get it better is to build it and use alternative fourth gear from A TD 4 speed or 5 speed or alternative longer stronger 3rd and 4th. so yes DU or ABD or similar, common 1.9 boxes with 2 pinion diff, ACW is the 2.1 version with stronger 4 pinion diff.
5 speed means linkage change, inherantly weaker box and lots more money for a good one the correct final drive which still won't be perfect.
