Viking Roof New Seal

Post by mearnsy »

Whats the best way of replacing the black rubber seal around the roof, especially around the hinged area as there is little room?

Do i have to temporarily remove the hinges?

We've just replaced ours and we managed it without removing the roof hinges. Was a little tight around them, but with the aid of a screwdriver we managed it without damaging the seal.

Hope that helps

Steve, did you use anything to help it slide  , and did you use mastic to ensure it stays on?
