Coolant pipe diameter

Post by Hoverbus »

Hello,

I am hoping to fit a inline temp sensor where my old secondary water pump used to be..no temp guage at the moment.

What is the internal diameter of these pipes? :?:

Does anyone know offhand...my van is 100 miles away and I am trying to order parts online....many thanks. :D

Better to put the temp sender into the small hose coming off the back of the cylinder head that goes to the heater, that`s where it gets warmest the quickest, and should give you a proper indication of how hot the motor is getting.

From memory I think that pipe is 19mm bore. That`s where I put the inline sender on mine.
Keep it real.
