about to take delivery of my first T25 and I need to get the MOT done before end of April. I understand Brickwerks in Huddersfield is supposed to be good but he's busy/wife's about to have a baby. Rang Volksworks in Leeds anyone have any experience of them or can recommend another garage? Volksworks quoted £150 + vat for timing belt change. Reasonable?
Cheers

there's always smashing in leeds top of jack lane, don't be put off by the unfriendly telephone manner, he does tend to view customers as if they are getting in the way of him working but they are really good and he does know the t25 inside out!
also the herbie hospital on dolly lane also in leeds they know them inside out too but can be on the pricey side and hard to get booked in with!

I'm booked until mid April, I am reluctant to have people rely on me, or travel any distance as babies come when they want and not when I don't have any worked booked in.
I am usually booked for at least a month, and upto 2 months towards the end of the summer.
There are 2 of us working now, and we are still a little behind with our work.
I would hate to book a van in and have to cancel the booking as I had to nip off for baby duties, I think it fairer to say no from the outset as not to mess anyone around.
After mid may, once baby is home and getting stable I will then be able to get serious about work again, until then tho I just gotta say no.
I do have booking up to nigh on the due date but most of them are reasonably local and forwarned that the booking maybe cancelled.
Don't know what else to do really, if anyone rings up they only want to speak to me, not like I can leave anyone else in work.
Sorry, can't vouch for any of the other garages you mention either, what I will say is that I do get lots of work from your area and I seem to spend a fair bit of time repairing mistakes by other "specialists"
I would be tempted to nip into your GSF branch and ask them who buys lots of T3 parts, then ring them!
