Halford paint codes?!?

hello,

My paint code is LH5V - slate blue.

Im trying to get some paint from halfords, they can mix 'vw slate blue' as its on there computer but the code is different. Its E5U or something like that. any ideas if its the same?!?

TBH I wouldn't ask halfrods to mix paint for me, local decent paint spraying shop I would trust more.

also if only painting a small area its likely that the paint on your van has faded over the years so wont match original colour. take your van or a paiece of it (sliding door rail cover seems to be the recommended) to a paint suppliers and they will mix it to match your vans colour.
