merc alloys-longer bolts?

just bought a camper and it has nice alloys on it but being a bit new to that sort of thing i didnt realise it will need longer bolts and the nuts at the back dont go on all the way. Where can i get longer bolts and is it a problem if the nuts dont go on all the way?

you can get these from brickwerks...and some nice chrome nuts to go with them
