I find the trick with Costco is to agree what your gonna buy and have someone to split it with beforehand. A rack of sirloin can split between maybe 4 and the cheese is reaLLY good. Papillon Roquefort is the bees knees and their twin pack of Camembert for £3 is brilliant. Crab claws are good too and cheaper than the chinese supermarkets tho not so good for raw prawns...

Cheese and crab claws? I don't need an eber, i generate plenty warm air meself...

Yup, we do that too occasionally. The ones we definitely go there for are decent sized packets of Pine nuts and Parmesan cheese - if you make a lot of pesto each week, you can't pay Waitrose prices (Costco x 2 exactly). Ditto some of their pastas - so then there's no excuse not to cook a proper meal every night.

Tend to buy food from three places... Waitrose, Farmer's market and Costco and grow the rest.

I have a discount voucher for machine mart valid today (sunday) and wednesday night (6-9 pm) at the bolton store Kathy send me a mail if you want to use it .
My admiration knows no bounds Kathy, how many months pregnant? And you want a set of spanners for Xmas

RESPECT!

he he, 5 months now. Thought i'd better get this stuff before all the baby stuff comes along. Possibly rebelling against all the people who keep saying things like oh it'll all change when the baby comes, implying our lives are going to end! Can't wait to involve the baby in the whole campervan thing. Very inspired by you all saying it is possible. A few people who know that i am still me (and not just a ababy carrier) have given me money for christmas and told me to get something I want, so i thought I know, I'll get me some tools. Knowing what to do with them will be another thing though! he he he

Some good tips there, thanks. Got a small multimeter thing from maplin yesterday. was buy one get one free too!

Got myself a Costco card yesterday, blooming cheap prices:

Bosch powerbox radio/battery charger - Toolstation/Screwfix £135, Costco £46 (inc VAT). Might buy one and sell it on ebay......
DeWalt DW707 sliding compound mitre saw, Screwfix - £269. Costco £233 inc VAT and a free stand!!!!
Chicken breasts at £5.99/kg.

Off there later with some money!

Cheers,

Steve
