Westy Joker Interior lights

I need to change one of the strip lights above the cooker/sink unit. Have removed the the perspex cover easily enough but cant seem to find how to remove the strip light bulb itself. Think I'm missing something obvious here anyone got any ideas please?

They normally twist until the pins line up with the slot in the end and then pull forward ....
