Better than nothing, but only protects what is 'downstream' of it.

Most hookup faults are likely to be outside the van in the cold and damp, or inside with the wiring that leads to the sockets....

What you need is a RCD (Residual Current Device) this will protect your van mains electrics and the valuable gear you plug into it.

Locked
