rear shocks for a 14" syncro
Hi Chaps,
VW want £85.00 for a rear shock absorber, GSF dont have any at the moment but maybe able to get some from germany. Any other places i can get some from and not pay VW prices. If GSF had them in stock they would have been £40.00 each.
Cheers

OE from VW was Boge.
Boge is part of the same company as Sachs (ZF)
The Sachs and the Boge dampers are made on the same production line, they are the same part.
The Sachs is much cheaper than the Boge.
JK sell them at a very, very good price.
If I sell them at the same price as JK I make about £4 per damper.
Basically, not worth the effort.
I do have 2 complete sets on order, one already spoken for, one for the shelf, for garage use.
I didn't see the point of buying any, or even stocking them and putting them on the website because JK get much, much better prices than I do from ZF as they buy much more than I do.
Hence why they can do Lemforder, Sachs, Boge etc at such good prices.
