does anyone know what the gaps shpuld be on my plugs its a 1.9wc 86 petrol. thanks

gap is pre set .should be no need to alter.

From Haynes manual:

Engine codes DF and DG:
Ignition coil with green sticker, gap = 1.0mm
Ignition coil with grey sticker, gap = 0.8mm

Engine code EY or GW, gap = 0.7mm

Surely even with brand new plugs the gap needs checking :?: certainly does when carrying out service, :wink:

if ur plugs are 3 electrode type u cant set gap.
well not with standard feeler gauge
if any doubt just change plugs
and that came from vw mechanic
